how do i enter the stock market?

i have read some books and ben to a semenar and they all have said 3 things make one rich or add income. they are real estste, busness and stocks. well i am not smartenough to run a busness, and i havent the money to buy property, so i thought i will try the stock marjet. i have always had an intrest in the marjet. i understand i will mostlikely not make money but i thought i would set aside 500 bucks and see what happens. so how do i use my 500. where do i go on line to guy stocks and do theses places give me all the graphs i need to study the stock befor i buy it? should i buy the wallstaeet journal?
